THE PROBLEM OF WASTE DISPOSAL AND ITS IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT: A CASE STUDY IN TEBING VILLAGE, TANAH PUTEH, PRABUMULIH CITY

Abstract

Problems disposal rubbish is one of the problem environment that is still faced community, including in the sub-district Tanah Puteh Cliff, Prabumulih City. Research This aim For describe problem disposal rubbish as well as analyze the impact to condition environment and life community. Research This use approach descriptive qualitative with method studies literature (library research). Data used in the form of secondary data obtained from article journal scientific, books, documents government, regulations legislation, and sources written other relevant data. Data is analyzed use analysis content through the process of data reduction, grouping based on themes, data presentation, and withdrawal conclusion. Study results show that problem disposal rubbish related close with behavior society, level knowledge and awareness, attitude, availability facilities and infrastructure, support family, and involvement government. Disposal trash that is not appropriate can cause environment become dirty, causing smell No delicious, disturbing channel drainage, improve risk puddles, and potential pollute land, water, and air. Efforts to overcome this need done in a way integrated through improvement awareness society, sorting rubbish since from home, application reduce, reuse, recycle (3R) principle, provision adequate facilities, as well as development management rubbish based public like a waste bank. Synergy between government and society required For realize a clean, healthy and sustainable environment.
