PERAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH DALAM MEMBENTUK KONSISTENSI IBADAH PESERTA DIDIK DI SD NEGERI PILANG 1 KOTA PROBOLINGGO

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the school environment in fostering students' consistency in worship at SD Negeri Pilang 1 Probolinggo City. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. The participants consisted of the principal, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher, classroom teachers, and selected students through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that the school environment plays a significant role in developing students' consistency in worship by providing worship facilities, implementing regular Duha prayers, Qur'an recitation activities, congregational Dhuhr prayers, and fostering a religious culture integrated into the learning process. These continuous habituation programs successfully cultivate discipline, responsibility, obedience to religious values, and consistent worship practices among students. Therefore, the school environment makes a substantial contribution to strengthening students' religious character through well-planned and sustainable religious programs.
