Liminal: Journal of Social Sciences and Humaniora is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing critical and interdisciplinary scholarship on social and human realities within liminal contexts—spaces characterized by transition, negotiation, and transformation. The journal provides a scholarly forum for examining how individuals and communities navigate shifting social, cultural, ethical, and spiritual boundaries in contemporary societies.

The journal publishes high-quality theoretical and empirical studies across a wide range of disciplines, including psychology, sociology, anthropology, law, education, and the arts. Particular attention is given to issues of identity, power relations, cultural dynamics, ethics, spirituality, and processes of social change, especially as they emerge in complex and evolving social settings.

Liminal welcomes diverse methodological approaches, encompassing qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, as well as critical–interpretive perspectives. The journal strongly encourages dialogue between global and local knowledge traditions, fostering inclusive and context-sensitive scholarship that reflects the plurality of social experiences.
