Peer Review Process

Liminal: Journal of Social Sciences and Humaniora maintains a standard of insight while increasing process efficiency.

 

All research articles published in Liminal: Journal of Social Sciences and Humaniora see full peer review, the key characteristics of which are listed below:

 

Peer review of refereed papers:

The Editor of Liminal: Journal of Social Sciences and Humaniora will promptly decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions to refereed papers based on the review and editorial insights of the supporting journal. In addition, the Editor will have the option to seek additional review if necessary. Authors will be notified when the Editor decides further review is necessary.

 

Peer review of novel submissions:

Articles submitted directly to Liminal: Journal of Social Sciences and Humaniora will be fully peer reviewed by at least two qualified experts in the field selected by the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief or a designated member of the Editorial Board will then decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions based on the review and comments received.

The Editor will decide whether each submission reports well-conducted research with conclusions that are supported by the data presented in the paper. Priority assessment will not be a factor in the decision-making, but all papers must add something new or additional to the literature.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal is an open access journal which means all content is freely available at no cost to users or institutions.
